In Alberton the Museum and Genealogy Centre houses
a display chronicling the Island's fox farming industry glory days in
the early 1900s while historic murals adorn the town's streets. It is
located on Hwy. 12 at 457 Church St. The building itself is a restored
1878 courthouse.
Stroll through the welcoming shops, chat with the locals at the cafe or
relax beside the town pond, possibly even with a fishing pole in hand.
