The community of Miscouche boasts a strong
connection to its roots. Evidence of this can be found at the Acadian
Museum where visitors can explore the 300 year presence of Acadians on
Prince Edward Island. It is here that Atlantic Canada’s Acadians adopted
their national hymn and flag in 1884. The Museum features an exhibit
that will allow you to discover the fascinating odyssey of Island
Acadians from 1720 to present. It also houses a genealogy research
centre where you can trace your Acadian roots.
