Morell, Prince Edward Island

Both currently and historically, the fishing and fish processing industries are major employers in the Morell area. Together, lobster and mussels make up 99% of the total value of landings at Red Head Harbour.

The Morell River is one of the best Island rivers for Atlantic salmon fishing and other types of sport fishing. Tourism is also important with beautiful beaches, a very scenic coastline and great golfing nearby at The Links at Crowbrush Cove.
