Prince Edward Island: Cycling, Charlottetown
Charlottetown offers nightlife and professional theatre in the Confederation Centre of the Arts, where the well-loved musical, Anne of Green Gables, has played every summer since 1965. Of interest too, is Province House National Historic Site where the Fathers of Confederation first met in 1864 to begin discussing a united Canada. Charlottetown, "the birthplace of Canada" also features restaurants, shops and sightseeing activities.
