West Point has miles of sandy beaches, camping at
Cedar Dunes Provincial Park, picnicking, nature trails, swimming and an
active fishing harbour where fresh seafood is available.
At the West Point Lighthouse you will get more than a warm welcome – you
can learn about our history, folklore and genealogy. Explore the tools,
pictures and artifacts of lightkeeping as you climb to the Lantern Room
at the top of PEI’s tallest functioning lighthouse. While here you can
enjoy a mouth watering meal in the dining room or on the seaside patio.
You can even spend the night in Canada’s only Inn in an active coast
guard lighthouse!
